Loved the alpine style of the furniture, it added a unique charm to the place. the breakfast was absolutely amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. - the location was perfect, close to the main road but still quiet and peaceful. - the staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. - the open bubble hot spa bath was a wonderful touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

The wifi connection was a bit unreliable, often disconnecting or requiring a restart. Some of the furniture in the rooms was a bit old and could use an update.

We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegetable soup served in the evening at Chateau Backpackers & Motels. It was a warm and comforting treat after a long day of exploring our surroundings. The soup had a great flavor and was a nice touch that added to our overall experience.

We had a good stay at Chateau Backpackers & Motels. While there were a few drawbacks such as noise after midnight and the lack of attention to cleanliness in some areas, the free breakfast and soup were a nice perk.

We stayed at Chateau Backpackers for two nights and absolutely loved it! The location was stunning, with amazing views of the mountains and glacier. Checking in was a breeze, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a sweet note and mini cupcakes waiting for us in our upgraded ensuite room. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the hotel had great amenities such as free breakfast, a gym, a hot tub, and even Netflix. The unique design of the hotel added to its charm, with refurbished old items decorating the interior. A special shout out to Chris, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

    I do recommend this hotel.

The room was lovely and the bathroom was spacious. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The breakfast could have been better. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered some hot food options.

The free veggie soup in the evening was delicious and the free breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day. the provided pool table and ample seating areas were a bonus for hanging out and relaxing. the beds had curtains, which provided some privacy and made for a more comfortable stay.

The lighting in the shower could be better and the toilet would benefit from a door to separate it from the rest of the bathroom. the wifi was not very reliable and it was difficult to connect to it.

The kitchen was well set up, offering everything we needed as trekkers and group of friends. the free soup in the late afternoon was a nice touch. the sleeping pods were a great feature, providing privacy and comfort. the hot water and shower pressure were excellent. the cleanliness of the whole place was impressive, and the recycling options were appreciated.

Felt fine, nothing too much trouble.

We stayed two nights at Chateau Backpackers & Motels and had a wonderful time. The manager, Chris, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. The free breakfast and soup were fantastic, with unique touches like pancake batter at the breakfast table. The decor was charming, with vintage farm tools adding a special touch. The staff were friendly and provided great recommendations. The hotel is also dog-friendly and has comfortable beds. The shared kitchen spaces and outdoor relaxation areas were fantastic, and the kids loved finding the old PlayStation in the office. a great place with excellent service.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I really liked the facilities at the hotel. The kitchen was big and spacious, and there were plenty of chill-out areas to relax in. The showers were also great, with good water pressure and temperature control. Additionally, I loved the fact that they offered free soup and breakfast. It was a nice touch and saved me some money during my stay.

There were a few things that I didn't like about my experience. the lack of curtains in my room was a bit inconvenient.

The location of the accommodation is very convenient, close to the bus depot and CBD. The rooms and facilities are good value for money, with free wifi and even free international calls. The hostel offers free soup and breakfast, which is a nice touch. The kitchen in the rooms is well-equipped, with plates, mugs, and a water boiler. The private room we stayed in was clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was also clean and the staff was helpful in providing towels upon request.

The walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard.
